Amrita Rao is an Indian actress born on June 7, 1981, in Mumbai. She made her Bollywood debut with “Ab Ke Baras” in 2002 but gained widespread recognition with her role in “Ishq Vishk” (2003). Amrita has appeared in notable films such as “Main Hoon Na” (2004) and “Vivah” (2006), the latter directed by Sooraj Barjatya. She has received critical acclaim for her performances and was nominated for awards, including a Filmfare Best Female Debut nomination. In addition to her film career, Amrita has also ventured into television, hosting the show “Perfect Bride” in 2009. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Sophia College, Mumbai.
