You can search buildings and other sites or loot killed players to find weapons, vehicles, armor and clothing. At the completion of each round, players gain an in-game currency depending on how long they survived, number of players they killed and how much damage they caused. The currency can be used to purchase crates which contain cosmetic accessories to customize characters.
