Buster Moon is the main character in the computer-animated film Sing. He is voiced by Matthew McConaughey. An optimistic anthropomorphic koala and the owner of Moon Theatre, Buster always believed that when you reach rock bottom, the only way to go is up. He loved his theatre more than anything in the world and when he was having financial trouble with regards to keeping his theatre, instead of just letting it go, he organized a singing competition. Residents from all over town, from very different backgrounds, come together to audition for the singing competition. Despite the struggles of putting together a show, Buster’s positive outlook, along with contestants turned into friends, have made the production succeeded expectations.
