DOTA
The “Dota” game series originated as a custom map in “Warcraft III” known as “Defense of the Ancients” (DotA). It evolved into “Dota 2,” a standalone game developed by Valve Corporation and released in 2013. “Dota 2” is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) where two teams of five players each control unique heroes with specific abilities. The goal is to destroy the opposing team’s Ancient. The game is renowned for its complexity, strategic depth, and large roster of heroes. It has become a major player in the esports scene, with notable tournaments like “The International.” Additionally, “Dota Underlords” is an auto-battler spin-off that offers a different gameplay experience within the Dota universe.
