Russia

Russia, the largest country in the world, is a federal semi-presidential republic with Moscow as its capital. Led by President Vladimir Putin (as of my last update), Russia has a diverse geography, a significant population, and a mixed economy heavily reliant on natural resources, particularly oil and gas. With a rich history that includes the Soviet era, Russia has made substantial contributions to literature, music, and the arts. It plays a prominent role in global politics and has one of the world’s most powerful militaries. Challenges include economic diversification and geopolitical tensions. Russia’s cultural diversity is reflected in its various ethnic groups and influences from both Europe and Asia.
