Known as Ford’s Ferrari-fighting hypercar, the Ford GT is a two-seater sports car. It runs on a 3.5 liter EcoBoost twin-turbo V6 engine, claiming 647 horsepower and 550 lb-ft torque. It’s body is noted for its aero device; flying buttresses that link outrigger to central body are wing profile. The rear lights are hollow and vent air from the intercoolers, there is also an underbody diffuser, splitter, flat undertray, active rear wing. Jamal Hameedi, the chief engineer of Ford Performance points out, “you would never have a hole unless it’s feeding a cooler.” Physically, the Ford GT was built for speed.
