The Metal Mech Batsuit was seen when Batman confronted Superman in the 2016 American superhero film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The suit is a powered exoskeleton and a technologically advanced, heavily armored version of the Standard Batsuit. It is designed to withstand a great deal of physical abuse.

The Batsuit is inspired by the armored power-suit seen in the 1986 Dark Knight series by Frank Miller. It is the first cinematic Batsuit to have permanent glowing lenses covering the eyes.
