Daredevil (2003) is a superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Matt Murdock, who, after being blinded by a radioactive substance as a child, gains extraordinary senses and fights crime as the masked vigilante Daredevil. The movie follows Murdock’s journey as a lawyer by day and a crime-fighter by night, as he takes on the criminal elements corrupting his city. The plot also involves a romantic subplot with Elektra Natchios and a conflict with the deadly assassin Bullseye. Despite mixed reviews, the film contributed to the early wave of Marvel superhero movies.

“Daredevil” (TV series, 2015-2018) is a darker and more mature take on the character. Matt Murdock, portrayed by Charlie Cox, balances his life as a blind lawyer with his vigilantism as Daredevil in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. The series explores complex characters, moral dilemmas, and intense action sequences. It received positive acclaim for its storytelling and performances but was eventually canceled as part of Netflix’s decision to conclude its Marvel series.
