Destiny: Rise of Iron is the fourth expansion for the popular online multiplayer first-person shooter Destiny. Released in September 2016, the expansion is set on Earth and revolves around the Plaguelands, a new location infested with a deadly nanite plague known as SIVA.

Rise of Iron introduces a new campaign, where players assume the role of the Guardian as they strive to uncover the origins of the plague and face a new threat in the form of the Fallen Devil Splicers.
