Ghost Recon Wildlands is a video game with an open world tactical shooter set up that will be released to the public on March 7, 2017. This is currently being developed by Ubisoft Paris and is said to be the tenth installation of the Ghost Recon Franchise by Tom Clancy. The game developers boast that this will be the first installment to ever highlight an open world environment.

This time around, the game will shy away from the usual futuristic scene that was first introduced in Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. Instead, this will feature a setting that was common in the original Ghost Recon. According to Ubisoft, this is one of the largest open world games that they have released. They say it includes a wide array of environments like salt flats, deserts, mountains and forests. The game will be playable on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Microsoft Windows.
