God Of War Ragnarok Kratos Blades Of Chaos is a significant element in the God Of War Ragnarok game. The Blades of Chaos are one of the most identifiable and iconic weapons in video game history and Kratos’ weapon of choice for many games. In God of War: Ragnarok, Kratos uses the Blades of Chaos in the many battles that follow across the oncoming war with the Aesir gods. The Blades of Chaos start back at level 1 when you obtain it after your first big battle in the prologue, and is also tied to unlocking further skills in the Blades of Chaos Skill Tree – all the way to the level 6 upgrade. The Blades of Chaos can be upgraded by finding unique resources – either a Chaos Flame, or by finding 6 Chaos Sparks (which will automatically become a Chaos Flame). The Blades of Chaos jump attack sees Kratos ram these two fiery shortswords into the ground, creating a large AOE of fire around him. Kratos can use the Blades of Chaos to move more quickly in the arenas, clinging to raised walls thanks to them.
