Little Nightmares is a puzzle platformer game that Tarsier Studios developed and Bandai Namco Entertainment published for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows. Tarsier Studios first called it Hunger in May 2014, but it did not have a publisher for PlayStation 4 yet. They did release its teaser trailer in February 2015. However, it was only until August 2016 that Bandai Namco Entertainment announced their partnership and then revised the title of the game into Little Nightmares.

The plot revolves around Six who is a nine-year-old girl that was kidnapped from her house. She was then brought to work in the Maw, which is a dreamlike underwater resort that caters to the wants of the mighty elite. As soon as she gets a chance at freedom, Six travels through the unforeseeable and strange world of The Maw. Once there, she captures a glance of the corrupt heart of modern happiness.
