Brabham

Brabham is a historic name in Formula One racing, founded by Australian driver Sir Jack Brabham in 1960. The team quickly gained recognition for technical innovation, introducing rear-engine designs and winning multiple Constructors’ and Drivers’ Championships in the 1960s and 1980s. Ownership changed hands, with Bernie Ecclestone becoming a co-owner. The team withdrew from Formula One in 1992 due to financial challenges. In recent years, there have been attempts to revive the Brabham name through initiatives like “Project Brabham,” led by Jack Brabham’s son, David. Despite facing challenges, the Brabham legacy remains significant in the history of motorsports.
