Tales of Xillia is a role-playing video game and is the thirteenth core product of the Tales Series. It is developed by Namco Tales Studio and published by Namco Bandai Games exclusively for PlayStation 3. It was first released September 7, 2011 in Japan and August 6, 2013 in North America. The game is about the adventures of Jude Mathis and Milla Maxwell on their journey to find and destroy a weapon called the Lance of Kresnik.

Milla Maxwell is one of the two main characters of the game. She is the successor to Maxwell, the master of the spirits. She controls Efreet, Undine, Sylph and Gnome. The Four Great Spirits are her means to protect everything that resides in the world above all else. She is a woman of great determination and will go through any lengths to uphold her duty, even risking her life.
