The Toyota Camry XSE is a race car that has been designed to compete in the NASCAR Cup Series. This car is set to make its debut in the 2024 season. The Camry XSE Next Gen is the successor to the Toyota Camry TRD Next Gen, which had an impressive record with 18 victories and 25 poles in the last two seasons of competition. The Camry XSE Next Gen has been designed to emulate the road-going 2025 model-year Camry that is set to go on sale in the spring. Much of the street-car version’s thoroughly restyled look carries over to the race car. The race-ready rendition of the Camry XSE will make its competition debut at the Busch Light Clash exhibition at the LA Memorial Coliseum before starting the season in earnest with the 66th running of the Daytona 500. It is not the only new model to be introduced for the NASCAR Cup Series. Ford has also revealed a new Cup Series model, the 2024 Mustang Dark Horse. Chevrolet, the third automaker involved in NASCAR’s three national series, will continue with its Camaro ZL1 this season but could potentially shift to a new model for future Cup and Xfinity Series campaigns after the Camaro’s production run ends early next year. When the Camry XSE does hit the track, viewers should note significant differences from nose to tail. The design of the Camry XSE race car is unique and distinctive, and it is expected to make a strong impression on the track. With the addition of Legacy Motor Club beginning in 2024, eight Toyota Camry XSE’s will compete on the track every weekend, marking a new era for Toyota in the NASCAR Cup Series.
