Watch Dogs 2 is an action-adventure video game with an open world set-up that was published and developed by Ubisoft. This is the continuation of Watch Dogs that was released in 2014. The developers revealed the sequel in November 2016 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The plot is set in a fictionalized variation of the San Francisco Bay Area.

The players basically function in a third-person perspective where they roam the world by land on foot or by a water vehicle. They play the character Marcus Holloway who is a hacker that operates with the hacking group DedSec to break down the sophisticated surveillance system of the city. There are several methods to accomplish the missions and every assignment improves the follower count of DedSec. The game has a cooperative multiplayer mode that enables players to compete in a one-on-one battle, as well as, connect with other players to negate a player who is causing mayhem.
