The Alpine Alpenglow HY4 is an innovative prototype that showcases a hydrogen-powered internal combustion engine. Unlike traditional hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, this model uses hydrogen to power a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing around 335 horsepower. Designed as a “rolling lab,” the Alpenglow HY4 aims to explore sustainable motorsport technologies while maintaining the thrilling performance and sound of conventional racing cars. The car will make its public debut in demonstration runs at notable events like the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps and the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2024​.
