The Aston Martin Vantage GT4 is a race car that has been designed and engineered by Aston Martin Racing. It is the evolution of the successful Aston Martin V8 Vantage N24 car. The vehicle is powered by an enlarged 4.7-litre engine and features uprated suspension, allowing for increased camber and castor angles. The brakes have also been enhanced with larger diameter front discs and racing pads. The Vantage GT4 is built to FIA GT4 regulations, making it eligible to compete in FIA European GT4 and FIA GT4 world endurance races. The car shares approximately 80 percent of its mechanical and structural components with the road car, including the aluminum chassis, engine, transmission, and a majority of the body panels. The race car gains a roll cage to meet safety regulations and an air jack system is also included. The new Vantage GT4 has made history by claiming victory in only its second outing in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, a support of event for the world-famous Mobil 12 Hours of Sebring in Florida.
