The Aston Martin AMR24 is the 2024 Formula One car from the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team. This vehicle is a strong evolution from its predecessor and has been designed and built at the state-of-the-art AMR Technology Campus. The AMR24 has an overall weight of 798 kg, a wheelbase of 3600 mm, and an overall width of 2000 mm. The chassis design, nose, front wing, front suspension, and rear suspension are all new. The front wing and nose have been revised for more effective and efficient management of wake from the 18-inch front wheels. The floor of the car, which is the biggest area of downforce generation, has been constantly evolved. The AMR24 features a push-rod suspension layout at both the front and rear. The front suspension has been improved to boost performance in conjunction with the changes to the front wing and floor. The rear suspension has been optimised to maximise the efficiency of airflow around the rear wing. These optimisations have also enhanced the design of the diffuser and floor and elegantly accommodate Mercedes’ latest power unit and eight-speed, semi-automatic gearbox.
