Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, an action-adventure game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft, immerses players in the unexplored Western Frontier of Pandora. This title marks the second video game in the franchise, succeeding Avatar: The Game (2009).

From a first-person perspective, players assume the role of a Na’vi orphan, trained as a soldier by the Resources Development Administration (RDA). After waking up sixteen years later in an abandoned facility, the character embarks on a journey across the vast Western Frontier, seeking their origins and uniting local Na’vi tribes against RDA exploitation. The game offers a large open world divided into three distinct regions, each featuring unique biomes, quests, and inhabitants. Players can utilize the “Na’vi sense” to identify interactable objects and enemy vulnerabilities. Armed with RDA weapons and Na’vi weaponry, such as bows and arrows, players combat foes and unlock better gear as they progress. The agile player character, capable of advanced acrobatic feats, can double jump and ride the flying creature “ikran” to navigate the world swiftly. Set eight years before Jake Sully’s arrival on Pandora, the game delves into The Ambassador Program (TAP) initiated by the RDA, led by Dr. Alma Cortez and RDA Director John Mercer, training five young Na’vi-human ambassadors in the year 2146.
