Hitman is a stealth video game developed by IO interactive. It is a game for Windows, PlayStation, Gamecube and Xbox. The popularity of the video game led the franchise to include novels; Hitman: Enemy Within and Hitman: Damnation. The main character of the game is Agent 47 a genetically enhanced human clone branded with a barcode on the back of his head. He escaped the facility and was then hired by the Agency, a European contract killing organization. Mission criteria may vary but the goal of the game is for Agent 47 to to find his assigned target and kill them by any means possible.
