Assassin’s Creed Origins is the tenth installment to the series published by Ubisoft. It was released October 27, 2017. The game is set in Ancient Egypt, a land known for its rich history and wonderful landscapes. For the best gaming experience, the creators even worked closely with historians, Egyptian experts and designed full day cycles to make the video game feel more dynamic and alive.

The player takes on the role of Bayek and his wife Aya who fights to protect the people from rulers Ptolemy XIII, Julius Caesar and Cleopatra who were influenced by the Order of the Ancients. The Order of the Ancients believed that peace and order may only be obtained through force. Thus the Brotherhood of the Assassins was born, a faction who believed in liberty and vowed to protect the innocent from the power greedy Templars.

Origins received positive responses for its story, characters and gameplay. The intense immersion into the world of Ancient Egypt due to the careful details and design has gained Origin one of the best, if not the best,  installment of the series.
