Anushka Sharma is an Indian actress, model and producer born May 1, 1988 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India. Her career in Hindi films made her one of the most popular and highest-paid actresses in India. Her modeling career started in 2007 with fashion designer Wendell Rodricks. The blockbuster romance film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in 2008 earned the actress a Filmfare Award for Best Actress nomination and her career took off from then.

The young star established her own production company, Clean Slate Films, in 2014. A year later, she released the film Navdeep Singh’s thriller NH10 which was screened at the Beijing International Film Festival.
